It's that bad. VA investigators have found entire claims and other critical documents in bins waiting to be shredded at the Detroit Regional Office. They've found first time claims, supporting medical documents, incidental claims that would support a primary claim all stashed away in desks, cupboards, boxes and none of it recorded.
