Palin: Laughably Ignorant
You may have missed it this weekend while you were busy with all your other activities but Palin put her lack of experience and knowledge on display. Unfortunately for all of us citizens, her ignorance is in an area that's extremely important to most of us ... the economy and specifically, the housing and financial credit arena.
As TPM put it,
Over the weekend Gov. Palin said that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had "gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers."
Only they're not even taxpayer funded. It's only the government takeover, which Sen. McCain supports, that could change that.
Laughably ignorant ... or is it weepingly ignorant?
It's impossible to take Palin seriously. She does provide hilarious entertainment. Her comments about how having Russia and Canada next to Alaska serve as foreign affairs experience had me laughing for five minutes.
She sounds just like Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones' Diary --the completely vacuous wording, tone, comments. Just priceless. We may as well get some entertainment out of the Republicans. They don't have any platform, but they have Palin.
